About the Classical Alumni Network
Preserving the legacy of classical education through community, scholarship, and the pursuit of wisdom.
Our Mission
The Classical Alumni Network exists to foster meaningful connections among graduates of classical education institutions, promoting the continued pursuit of wisdom, virtue, and truth in the tradition of the liberal arts.
Our Vision
We envision a world where the timeless principles of classical education inform contemporary discourse, where the great conversation of ideas spans generations, and where the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty remains central to human flourishing.
Our History
Founded in 2010 by a small group of passionate alumni from various classical education institutions, the Classical Alumni Network began as an informal gathering of like-minded scholars seeking to maintain the intellectual community they had experienced during their education.
What started as occasional meetings in coffee shops and university halls quickly grew into a formal organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the classical tradition. By 2015, we had established chapters in major cities across the United States and developed a robust online platform for members to connect regardless of geographical location.
Today, the Classical Alumni Network boasts over 5,000 members worldwide, representing graduates from more than 200 classical schools, colleges, and universities. We continue to grow while remaining true to our founding principles: the pursuit of wisdom, the cultivation of virtue, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
